We know that for many parents, their memories of going to the dentist date back to their own childhoods. But a lot has changed since then. At Children’s Dental Specialists, we aim to make that experience a positive one—both for our young patients and their parents. In our office, we offer a variety of treatments, from routine cleanings and fillings to pre-orthodontia.

We offer parents a choice to come back to the exam room with their child, or relax in our comfortable waiting room to catch up with a magazine or use our free wi-fi connection. Often, parents will have questions about their child’s dental health, so we take time to visit about each patient’s unique needs. Then, we make a custom treatment plan for that appointment, and the next ones.

Our office makes getting in and out convenient, thanks to our easy-to-use check-in and check-out system. We use laptop computers to check-in each patient, which saves on a lot of time and paper! 

At the end of your child’s appointment, we’ll share any notes from their treatment. Then, we’ll provide you with an estimated bill, based on your insurance coverage. Every insurance company is different but we do our best to provide the closest estimate possible.  Should you have further specific questions about your plan, we strongly urge parents to call and speak directly with their insurance company about coverage and benefits.  

Children’s Dental Specialists participates as a "Preferred Provider" (PPO) with four major insurance companies.  These are: Metlife, United Concordia, Delta Dental and Blue Cross Blue Shield.  We also accept Nebraska Medicaid.  If you would like to learn more about Nebraska Medicaid, please visit: www.hhs.state.ne.us/med/medprog.htm.  We accept all other insurances, but patient co-pay amounts vary depending on your plan.  If you have specific questions about your insurance coverage, please contact your insurance company and speak directly with them.
